Shipping information
Pizza BARLANG works strictly from stock: you can only order products that are physically with us and have passed personal inspection. This ensures what you receive matches your order exactly.
1. Shipping area
We deliver within Hungary by home delivery and parcel-locker pickup. We also ship to several EU countries: Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, Croatia, Romania, Slovenia and Slovakia. International small parcels (accessories under 15 kg) are priced by destination and package weight via the Packeta international network. Large items (pizza ovens, dough mixer) ship via DPD at a flat 60 EUR to any of the listed EU countries. For other countries, request a custom quote at hello@pizzabarlang.hu.
2. Shipping methods
We work with two providers so we can match the right solution to the product's size and type.
MPL home delivery — larger items
Larger and heavier items (pizza ovens, dough mixer) ship via Magyar Posta Logisztika (MPL) directly to the address you provide. The courier notifies you on the day of delivery by phone or SMS and typically arranges a 2-hour delivery window.
FoxPost parcel locker — smaller packages
Smaller packages that fit a locker (accessories, parts) ship to a FoxPost parcel locker. You choose the nearest locker at checkout. You're notified by SMS and email when it arrives. You have 5 working days to collect.
Which provider delivers your package depends on the product's size and weight. The cart shows the available option(s) clearly before you complete the order.
3. Shipping fees
Shipping fees depend on size and weight, and are shown clearly in the cart before order completion. No hidden costs: what you see in the cart is what you pay.
For orders above 250 000 HUF, shipping is free (within Hungary). The discount is applied automatically in the cart.
4. Delivery time
When possible, we ship the package on the day of the order, and the courier typically delivers the next day. Most common scenarios:
- Order Mon-Fri before 12:00: shipped same day, arrives next day.
- Order Mon-Fri after 12:00: shipped next working day.
- Order on weekend: shipped Monday, arrives Tuesday.
Public holidays and courier load may slightly affect delivery time. Lead times are indicative; we don't commit to a specific date.
5. Receiving the package
Important steps on receipt:
- Inspect the package's external condition in the courier's presence: any tears, dents or wet spots.
- If damaged, ask the courier to file a damage report. This is important for any later claim.
- Within a few days of receipt, we recommend unboxing and trying the product so any hidden damage is found early.
- The invoice and warranty card are always included in the package.
6. Damaged or lost package
If the package arrives damaged or contents are missing, please notify us within 48 hours of receipt at hello@pizzabarlang.hu. Include:
- the courier's damage report;
- at least 3-4 photos of the damage (external packaging and product);
- the order ID.
We resolve the matter together with the courier. If a replacement is needed, we provide it free of charge.
7. Stock and availability
Every product shown in the webshop is physically in stock and has passed personal inspection before going on the shelf. We don't take pre-orders.
If an item is out of stock, you can subscribe to email notifications on the product page; we'll let you know first when it's back.
